What types of surgeries do you perform?

We are equipped to perform dental, emergency, specialized and soft tissue surgeries. Dental procedures include tooth extractions and oral tumor removals. Emergency surgeries include wound repair, foreign object removal and other life-saving procedures. Specialized surgeries include cruciate, tibial tuberosity advanced (TTA), medially luxating patella, femoral head and neck excision, fracture repair and tibial plateau levelling osteotomy (TPLO) performed by our travelling board certified surgeon. Some soft tissue procedures include:

  • Lump removal
  • Cystotomy
  • Enucleation
  • Intestinal foreign body removal
  • C-section
  • Spay/neuter

What does the surgical process include?

If you cannot drop your pet off on the morning of their procedure, we can arrange for your pet to spend the night before at our hospital. If the surgery requires anesthesia, we’ll review your pet’s bloodwork to decide which medication is the right fit. Our team of registered veterinary technicians will administer anesthesia while consistently monitoring your pet’s blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, respiratory rate and depth of anesthetic while the veterinarian performs the procedure. After the surgery, we use laser therapy to reduce pain and speed up the healing process. If you have questions about your pet’s upcoming surgical procedure, please do not hesitate to contact us at 519-661-0496.
