I’ve always been a big fan of animals and dreamed of working with them since I was a kid. Growing up, I was glued to Animal Planet and Discovery channels, daydreaming about getting into animal rescue or being a zookeeper. But it wasn’t until my kitten had an accident, and I nursed it back to health, that I realized I wanted to become a veterinarian.
There’s something so rewarding about seeing a pet bounce back to health and witnessing the pure joy on their owner’s face. My interests in veterinary medicine lean towards small animals, pocket pets, imaging, and clinical pathology.
Oh, and I’ve got this Shih-tzu pup named Hiro, my first-ever dog – my little “COVID” buddy. Looking forward to adding more pets to the crew and maybe even having my own tiny hobby farm down the road!
